Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has enforced a new load shedding schedule from Wednesday. Power cuts will now be for 31 to 37 hours a week.
NEA will cut electricity for 31 hours a week in areas from Lamahi in the far-western district of Kailali to Lahan in the East and in Kathmandu and Pokhara valleys.

The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) is increasing the load shedding hours substantially beginning Tuesday.
According to a report in Kantipur daily, due to closure of some units of Kulekhani and Marsyangdi projects, the current level of 17.5 hours a week of load shedding is set to increase between 25 and 35 hours a week.

People tired of daily power cuts will get some respite with Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) slashing the load-shedding hours by more than half from Tuesday onwards.
